The kit came with basic repair instructions and using it I was able to repair some zip off hiking pants. I am definitely not a tailor and have minimal seamstress skills and was able to make the repair easily. The kit has a good variety of sizes that you would commonly find in zippers and I think it will be a good addition to a household’s repair kit. I very much recommend and the price was good.

But you'll need to do a tiny bit of sewing, perhaps. Read the directions carefully. Multiple zippers for many different applications.
